The finish on this pool is StoneScapes Tropics Blue mini pebble. Mini pebble is the finish ACE installs most, for two reasons: it is the most cost-efficient option in the pebble family, and its smaller, finer pebble is noticeably smoother underfoot than a standard, larger pebble finish.
It also lasts. A pebble finish typically runs 15 to 20+ years, roughly twice the life of white plaster, and holds up well to Southern California sun.
The waterline tile is Glasstel 75 from Fujiwa. Despite the name, Glasstel is a porcelain tile, not glass. At the waterline, tile is the band people see most, so it carries a lot of the look of the finished pool.
New trim tile was added as well. Trim tile marks the edges of steps and benches so they stay easy to see from above and under the water, which matters for anyone walking into the pool.
